Oh, those little showers can really clean up the surf and make the waves glassy - my favorite kind of surf. I might just have to put Scarborough on the surfing "to do" list.Re: Bob's Bits.
The Caribbean is an excellent place to learn, Bob. When I was in Barbados in February, the conditions were perfect - warm and calm. If you are booking an excursion early, try to go early in the day before the winds pick up.Re: Bob's Bits.
Give me a board and a paddle and I'll be off like a duck on speed...Re: Bob's Bits.

Re: Bob's Bits.
I daren't show my face in the exercise thread because for the last four days I've done bugger all, although I must say that with each passing day my Piriformis is a little less troublesome, but nowhere near good enough to go for a blast.... In the past I've gone out too early, only to set it back for another week. An old running friend (a Physical Training Teacher at the local School, with a Marathon best of 2 hours 35 mins) who knows a thing or two about running likened my recovery procedure to checking on a the health of a plant by pulling it up out of the ground to examine the roots.....He would be proud with my caution now.Re: Bob's Bits.
