The British Disease, it is someone else's problem.

Our streets are filthy and cost a fortune to clean.

Those who do not pay Council Tax have no incentive to keep them clean.

While I totally agree with what you have said, I feel it's partly the Councils own faults that there's so much fly tipping. They went from not charging for special uplifts to various costs(depending on each council) that are out of a lot of peoples pockets, so they dump. I don't know about your council but ours won't let you leave furniture at the site unless you have a permit....and they are not cheap.

When I renewed my bathroom, it cost me the best part of £100 to dispose of the waste at the local tip.
