Re: I've Noticed More People

My mother in law who lived in the country, used to say, noo potatoes for new potatoes. I just thought it was the village way of talking?

I have always wondered why some people spell the word lose, as ‘loose’

Re: I've Noticed More People

Americans pronounce it "noo" of course, but I haven't noticed Brits saying it like this.
Perhaps it's yet another Americanism which our youth have adopted due to their lack of grammar in favour of believing the American pronunciation is the correct method.
