Just finished Ike Hamill book extinction, I won't recommend it unless you want an example of bad sci fi. post apocolyptic writers usually chose one event, a disease, a natural disaster, alien invasion, man eating plants or similar, this author is obviously a fan because I don't think he left any possible apocolyptic event out of the book, man eating plants, disease, man melting water, severe snow, alien invasion, bad humans and zombies and possibly a religious event. All in a few hundred pages ! Instead of enjoying it as what it was intended it made me laugh that he had managed to get it all in !Re: What book are you reading now?

If you liked The Girl On The Train you’ll probably like The Widow . I like how the author has created her particular type of woman,rather a droll soul but not so slow on observing others and very well able to tell a tale to us.
