Exactly, Nom. Nobody complains about the bally soaps being on multiple times a week plus the omnibus.

I don't have a television and don't even watch on catch up but I do like football, athletics, snooker and swimming. I used to like cricket but I haven't followed it for the proverbial yonks.

Re: Football

When there are so many dedicated sports channels I donīt understand why they have to put football on ITV or BBC 1 either.

Oh dear you could read a book,or knit some fog, or pluck the wings off a fly while you wait to see the prerecorded soap shown at the next opportunity and again in the omnibus.

While something happening live is shown on very rare occasions,on the TV paid for by soap and sports fans.

How about a dedicated soap channel, of course most of the female population would disappear from the UK as they would be living in fantasy land.

I dont poink im a gentleman.

Re: Football

Now listen 'ere you.
I'm not saying there should be no football (though that would be bliss), I am just saying don't take our flippin' programmes off to show it.
Football could easily be shown as well as, not instead of, other progs.

Now calm down and go and have your bran flakes.

Because some of us only have pauper-view not pay-per-view.

I absolutely love football.
