I am not sure what a good immigrant is. But, I am pretty sure the percentage of immigrants who commit crimes is small and the percentage of immigrants who commit serious (say, terrorist) crimes is very small indeed. If you think I am wrong, prove it.

I visit a very old aunt in the UK on a regular basis, a few times I have accompanied her to see her GP, a lovely lady who emigrated to the UK from India, when my aunt had a recent stay in hospital her surgeon was Egyptian. A short while ago my aunt moved into a small residential care home, two of the carers are Polish, one Portuguese and one Kenyan, the facility would not be able to carry on without these immigrants. They work hard and are always cheerful.
On my visits I eat some of my meals in coffee shops, mostly staffed by young people from Eastern Europe, they seem to work hard and are always helpful.

So I am puzzled when you say that the UK gets too few good immigrants.

We need to cut down/abolish immigration altogether; that is my view and it won't change.
