Absolutely not. Yes I knew the name and as Barbara Castle, herself a betrayer of socialist ideals, wrote - she too came very close to betraying those principles.

Her first job was in Brighton. Following a visit to see relatives and keen to start working after leaving school, Margaret was offered an apprenticeship at a draper’s shop.
