Re: What are you having for lunch/dinner?

As I was off out to Ikea and Tesco today, I took a flask of coffee, and a 'packed lunch' of a few grapes, a marmite cheddar bite and one slice of buttered seedy bread. (No hotdog, chips and fizzy drink for me!)

For supper, chicken drumsticks cooked in red wine sauce, free veg and new potatoes. Banana and cream for pud.

Aha

One of my FB friends has something like that ... started on Thursday

I shall have to check that you two have not 'interacted'

The internet can be DANGEROUS !

A further thought or two for we people who venture out shopping, using public transport, shaking hands, handling coins/notes etc. ... we ought to start wearing gloves (like the ROYALS) and use those bacterial washes when we return to our safe environment.

That ought to eliminate some of the contageous viruses.

A whole new fashion trend will resurface ... GLOVES ...

Get knitting, those of you who enjoy it.

Christmas is nigh ...

chopped up the remains of the lamb from Sunday's roast, peeled and chopped: potatoes, parsnips, carrots, swede, leeks, onion. Made gravy from the meat juices, added lentils, and curry powder and made a few suet dumplings too. The smell emanating from my kitchen as I type this is wonderful!!!
