Re: Poorly dog mystery.

The main thing to me is, she is almost better now thank goodness.

Even if you were right, what would you do about it? We weren't there to witness anything, so how could anything be accurately proved? It could only be supposition and accusations, and that's just not good enough.

I do believe it was something to do with their kennels, not anything he personally did wrong. I know how she licks and licks at metal if I don't stop her. So it seems reasonable to suspect there may have been chemical cleaner on the metal door. He agreed this could be a possibility, but otherwise was as mystified as me.
I do trust this particular man and suspect he would tell me if he knew something I didn't. You don't know him Malcolm, else you might agree.
Thanks for the input though.

I have had dogs and cats in the past and have had dealings with vets, they are always lovey dovey in the consultation stage but when the animal is out cold on the table they treat them very differently indeed.

Like I said, Malcolm - you don't know him.
I won't be turned against a man I know and trust by someone who knows nothing about him.

Good news Mups. I'm thinking you could well be right about her licking and disinfectant being the troublemaker.
Apropos of nothing, it occurred to me today that three of your dogs' initials spell GIN
