The wife has all the walls plain now, it's far easier to look after that way but I have to say I do miss the wallpaper, the walls are all so boring now, doesn't matter what colour they are they are still boring and lacking imagination, but that's the way they do things today, anyway I don't have a say in that department, maybe it's just as well, I'd be inclined to run wild on the decor.

OH hates wallpaper with a passion, so our walls are the pale plain types much loved by estate agents..

It is a lovely backdrop for hanging paintings or art though.. Some things can get lost among all the patterns of busy wallpaper.

My walls are all plain, I have a lot of paintings and pictures so I think wallpaper would be too fussy.

I too hate WP with a passion,and decided when I moved to a new build 11 Yrs ago never to have any..All walls are off white/cream/ivory/pale apricot/pale lemon..lots of paintings/framed photo's though.

I have a couple of rooms with one wall papered to add interest cos I don't put many pictures up.
All the walls are beige or off white - I don't do colours, scary!!

I'm definitely an antique white person. But I did love that wallpaper on the feature wall in the hotel. It looked fab. I do like a bit of character about a home, so I can feel myself changing. I don't like the new build look anymore.
