That is a problem, as one who is in the throes of decluttering a plastic poppy would be as welcome as a hernia.

I agree, when my kids were little there was always plenty to get them, I'd start lay-bying stuff about June or July but now they are adults, so hard. I tend to give them $50 in an envelope plus a box of odds and ends (eg hip flask, lollies etc)

Oh really? I thought they were acrylic. Never mind same thing applies though (except I would probably drop it)

We've just received our Tower of London poppies and have to say they are lovely. We'll be finding a special place for them.
