BTW wimmin wearing socks is nothing sacred to us men, feminism has a lot to answer for.

Jem, it's exactly as you describe in the Grumble household. Dianne dresses sitting on the side of bed while I just get up, gather my clothes from wherever I dumped them and dress standing up.

I have noticed my son and DIL share socks they have a basket with them in and just take out a pair at random so they rarely match

Funny how when we married first, I was always the one waiting for herself to get into the bed, she took ages to get her clothes off, now she takes ages to put them on, funny old world ain't it?
