We aren't going to change their mindset. These countries need to be free of western interference because that's just making them more radical and less keen to reform. But of course they are sitting on the biggest oil reserves so the West keeps meddling...if the West didn't keep meddling we wouldn't have so many refugees and all the social problems that's causing.

Both the Guardian and the Telegraph "dress up" the news like nobody's business, adding copious political garnish to their verbal salads. But your article from the Telegraph is from 2013, whereas Rehab's Guardian article is from last year.

In any case this isn't what Isis would like to be happening here. They would like anarchy, which we don't have. We will also never have an Islamic state here. Muslims are only 5% of the population.

Kicking off in Iraq again tonight. No end in sight.

Could this be the day of action you were meaning ? If it's still going ahead.

20th February 2017

...and did you know there was an International Migrants Day on 18th December, designated by the UN ?

We'd better get used to the ideas.

The Guardian is a disgrace it has betrayed its working class roots is biased and no longer commands the respect it once had .
It is a paper for naive champagne socials and wishy washy liberals Who seem intent on destroying the culture of this country .
We animal loving Britain would never tolerate an animal having its throat cut without being stunned but we do .
We would never have ' honour ' killings in our country but we do now
-in the same way we see female children covered up and womenhood degraded and insulted by the full face covering .
These promoted -not by radical terrorists but by the rulings of Sharia law and upheld by the mythical moderate in the street follower of Islam and stupid liberal hogwash re multiculturalism form the likes of the Guardian
And the real progressive Muslims hate this .
It makes life hard for them .
They wish we did have laws that rule against these rediculous and cruel practices
By tolerating the intolerant we have done the Muslim in the street no favours at all.

Western interference does not make them kill each other and terrorise the rest of the world .
The refugees and please note the vast majority are young Muslims men is invasion by another name .
Does no one ever consider why all these people do NOT seek refuge in nearby Islamic countries but make perilous journeys to the west?

What I don't understand is if it's only a tiny minority of Muslims think radically why are the majority not stepping forward and shouting loud and clear NOT IN MY NAME? You will find no condemnation of atrocities from the Muslim Council for GB either on the news or on their website, or at least if you do it will be very low key.

We have our own laws we have no need for Sharia, but I think the battle is lost we will be outnumbered anyway in the future and our way of life will be lost forever.

I suspect that it is because they are afraid of the repercussions from those who control the religion. As a US admiral was once told, by somebody in the know, " Islam is a political movement, ,masquerading as a religion ". I believe this is true, as they want power of the whole world, not just the Islamic people.
What annoys me is that the "do good" Christians of Europe are virtually handing it to them on a plate!

Yes, I think we (especially we on OFF) know all about that particular organisation. An extract:

"Tell MAMA, which was founded in 2012, uses data from more than 15 police forces plus reports from victims and members of the public to compile a picture of Islamophobic activity in the UK.
The organisation directly received 1,128 reports of abuse and attacks in 2015, of which it verified more than 800.
Alongside the notable spike in street-based incidents, it reported many victims saying that bystanders had not intervened or challenged abusive behaviour."

It seems to me that they go around looking for trouble where there may not be any.

Then they bleat about it when they don't get all the support they expect from other people.

A highly biased organisation.
