We don´t wonder why they want to leave Syria Julie, it´s all those who are not from Syria we mostly wonder about, plus we wonder why there are more fit, strong young men than there are others.

Well I have heard and seen people wondering but you deny it as if only you and this forum exist, outside this forum there are people saying these people should stay and fight like we did in ww2 forgetting we weren't in this position at all of course.

Actually Julie .... I do wonder why some of them didn't stand and fight for their country.
When they see news reports like that one I also wonder what they think? They should have stayed and help protect the vulnerable? Or a new life in Europe was still the right thing for them to do, for themselves.

I must admit Julie that I cannot understand why they do not get their families to safety, even in a refugee camp and then go back to fight.

I would and so would my family and friends.

When the war in Syria is over, and if it were not for outside interference, it could soon be over, Syria will need all the working people it can get to rebuild it.

Syria was not a Third World Country, it was a secular land, Muslims and Christians etc, with a thriving economy.
