It's an occupational hazzard for me... our bank statement is reconciled to the penny each month. I use a spreadsheet at home to agree to the bank. It takes me about 5 minutes a week to update the spread sheet, its a simple task and works well. Quick results, little effort... perfect in my book.

I reconcile in my cash book, but I like the idea of a spread sheet. And I do still keep a daily spend notebook, a fresh one for every new month.

Gosh, Jazzi, do you need a fresh notebook every month? I keep a daily spend record, but only use less than a page in a month
