I need some help from you all on a gift idea for someone who's blind

My cousin, Kim, is blind. Has been since birth. She loves touchy-feely things and I've gotten her stuffed animals in the past, but I'd like to get her something this year that will keep her mind focused. Something that will entertain her. She loves listening to television and the radio and I was thinking of something like maybe a tablet for the blind (Kindle?) that will read stories to her or other things that she could touch and use for amusement, like puzzles or something of that nature.

She's in her 30's, but she's not fully developed mentally. Basically she's 30-something going on 5 or 6. So mentally, she's just a child.

Do you have any suggestions for something I could get her that will keep her entertained and also something she could personally interact with? I'd really appreciate any help because I'm a little stuck.

Maybe an MP3 player so she could listen to music and audio books? Some over ear headphones may be more suitable than the standard `in ear` type sold with the unit.

You might consider the Victor Readers, but they are somewhat expensive. How nice of you!

I like the idea of an MP3 player.

Also, if she likes music, would she like to try playing one, as in a keyboard or a guitar (the smaller sized ones.)
