Re: Happy Monday Folk.

Good afternoon all, another terrible day here today, but what's new about that. I love all the photo's folks, that one with the lads dressed up as Roman soldiers is terrific, now I'm curious to know what they're wearing under their skirts. The Romans never bothered invading here, the climate was too cold for them, Hibernia was their name for Ireland, wonder has it anything to do with hibernation, that's what I feel like doing for the rest of this lousy Summer.
Take care of yourselves Folks.

St. Stephen's Green Dublin, back in the days when we did get a Summer.

Re: Happy Monday Folk.

Good afternoon everyone on yet another wet and dismal day, oh dear, when will it change!

Went into town this morning to get some odds and ends for our holiday in Devon in 10 days time ...... maybe I should have bought some wellies and a new umbrella too!

Keep smiling, we can't change the weather!

Re: Happy Monday Folk.

My two grandsons are off school since the beginning of July until September Sam, we look after them while the parents are working, they get bored very quickly in this wet weather when they cant get out, but I hear on the news that the stream is beginning to change, whatever that means, hopefully a change for the better.

Re: Happy Monday Folk.

Evening everyone.

It's been another miserable day here again as well, but today I had the best news I've had this year.

Had to go back to the Infirmary this morning for a scan on my leg, following a suspected DVT, and it's clear. So, no more painful injections in me belly.

However, 'tis MoT day tomorrow!

Lovely photos by everyone. They're so cheerful.
