Quick Quiz "Who Won"?

Please answer the question below.

Who won?

Fiji 27 22 Scotland

Australia 40 27 Italy

Japan 13 35 Ireland

South Africa 35 12 France

Conservative 318 262 Labour

A simple quiz, easy answers....why are some people struggling to grasp win/lose?

All this rambling on and on and on serves absolutely no purpose.....get over it and enjoy life.......and start acting like adults.

Re: Quick Quiz "Who Won"?

What some struggle to understand is when we say Jeremy won it was a personal win not that his party won or that he won the election. Before the election everyone wrote him off he personally proved he isn't that toxic person they wrote about. Whereas before the election tm was very popular after she's struggling to maintain her place after a number of wrong decisions.

Shades of grey not black and white, but some can't grasp that they are fixated on black and white thinking.

Three weeks after the event the lengthy, confused and inconsequential posts are now pointless.

Re: Quick Quiz "Who Won"?

Well technically, Theresa May won, but because she didn't win by as many as she thought she would it made it look like Jeremy Corbyn had won, but really Jeremy lost but all his supporters believe he won because he lost by less than everyone thought he would. So although Theresa won she lost some seats and made it look like she had lost to Jeremy because he had won more than she had lost, but it wasn't enough to make Jeremy a winner, and it was still more than enough not to make Theresa the loser.......:confuse d:

Labour = LOSERS! - They just struggle to accept it, so think they've won, even though they LOST!

Nonsense !

He proved he very much WAS the toxic person people thought of him which is why he could only muster 262 seats even WITH the help of tactical Remainers and a bribed young vote.

Core Labour supporters would of course support whoever the party puts in charge even if it were a talking turd.

The rest of the country however sent a very clear message. "Corbyn is NOT going to run this country, not now, not ever"

Assuming the seats that swung to Labour as a result of tactical voting as being actual Labour support is farcical. The tactical voters would have voted Monster Raving Looney Party if doing so would have meant the Tories would not win. In the event they just voted for the Looney Party.

Those people don't give a fig about Corbyn or his "moon on a stick" policies. They just wanted to scupper BrExit any way they could and used a General Election to do so.

Stop deluding yourselves that Labour got more real support than they did. They were a full 56 seats behind Conservatives and over a millions votes behnd even with all the help from Remainers and a bribed youth.

On that basis they've performed much worse than they did in the 2010 election where they only got 258 seats.

Corbyn is not popular, has a reprehensible history and is disliked by the vcast majority of the UK and by many of his own MPs. Abbott likewise.

I don't think she was popular before the election in the slightest. She was just a figure that popped up when Cameron scarpered.

Well said Realist - I totally agree.
She was actually a pretty poor HS, mind you the thought of DA in that position would drive me to despair!
