I didn't know bones would take longer to heal if you are diabetic, did you?

Hope all the painkillers are not upsetting your tummy though.

Keep smiling my friend, all be well again soon.
I think the Naproxen are helping a bit with the pain, but I do feel better having talked to somebody who seems to know what she is talking about! She said it takes a long time to heal fully, but she seems confident that the pain will reduce and the wrist movement will be restored over the next few weeks.

The good news is you know there's nothing overlooked or that might require another cast.

Bit of a bummer though, 3 to 6 months. On a positive note you've got winter to nurse your wrist back to good health. You'll need it more come spring and summer. Have you thought of hibernating? You just need a long stick to hit the keyboard and you can stay on here 24/7.

Lovely idea Morty, but she told me that if using the mouse causes pain, which it does, I shouldn't do it for more that 20 mins at a time, and I then have to go and do something else with different wrist movements..... like the exercises I suppose!

Ah .. that's scuppered what seemed a good idea.

I can see frustration and trying to do too much could be the bugbear here. I'd be gnashing my teeth.

Hope you get and feel better soon - I've had bad backs and pains in my neck and shoulder for no reason they could find out but nothing as bad as your wrist.

Twink not the best of news but it does seem there is no hidden unnoticed break.

Have you tried a heat pack to help with the pain. Ice is good for new injuries but heat can help with stiffness and pain.

Hi

At least it will mend Twink, which is the good thing.
