The good news is you know there's nothing overlooked or that might require another cast.Bit of a bummer though, 3 to 6 months. On a positive note you've got winter to nurse your wrist back to good health. You'll need it more come spring and summer. Have you thought of hibernating? You just need a long stick to hit the keyboard and you can stay on here 24/7.
