Re: Pizza

We use ours for all sorts, pizza, bread, BBQ and best of all we have incorporated a roastisiry. The chicken is sublime. We just need the weather.

Re: Pizza

I make pizza dough in my Panny, usually 2 at a time, Do them on a tray in the oven, one i only cook for 10mins, just enough to set it, then bag & freeze it. The other gets topped with whatever is in the fridge.

We normally have pizza every Friday night as well. However, I like only veggie pizza whereas my kid and his dad love pepperoni, which I can't stand. So I order my own with veg (or like tonight, make my own with mushrooms, onions and bell peppers) that's light on the cheese and light on the sauce (white sauce, not red). Hawaiian pizza is another favorite of mine with ham, pineapple, sliced almonds and cinnamon. I also adore BLT pizza.

As for the pizza pans/trays with holes, I wasn't impressed with them. I use a typical pizza baking tray or a pizza stone. No pan in the world will make pizza better than a stone will.

Re: Pizza

I do like pizza, but am ashamed to admit that I simply can't make them! I've tried various recipes (including bread maker).

What is your most successful recipe and technique?

This is the easiest ever pizza recipe https://www.gordonramsay.com/gr/reci...osemary-pizza/

I use the same dough recipe no matter how I cook the pizza, over, pan or pizza oven. Doing them in a frying pan really makes for a crisp base

Re: Pizza

Many thanks for that, Missy.
Looks interesting - it's not a technique I have tried before.

Will let you know how it goes. I'll give it a whirl after the weekend.

One question: Have you used both types of flour?

I love Gordon

I've made a few of his recipes before, including his broccoli soup. It's super easy and so good.
