My beautiful Agapanthus

I love this Agapanthus, it's called Queen Mum. It is nearly 5ft tall - same as me.
You can't see close enough perhaps, but it is snow white with a lovely bright purple 'throat'.
Hope you like it, it looks smashing by the 'Bishop' Dhalias.

Beautiful .. and a lovely colour combination too. Don't they look striking. I spy a little bird hut too and little creatures on the lawn. Now that's my kind of garden

Re: My beautiful Agapanthus

Thanks everyone.
I have some of the more usual blue ones, and a couple of deep purply-blue, plus 2 more miniature pure white ones, but I love that huge Queen Mum.

I split it last year, and have another smaller tub of it out the front as well now, but just incase it didn't survive, I kept a few seeds from one of the flower heads. To my surprise and delight, they are now growing tiny leaves too, though it will be a couple of years before they are mature enough to flower.
