I remember during my hippy phase going to see ISB at the Royal Festival Hall in March 1968 - they were amazing. Unexpectedly supporting that night was the fantastic Tim Buckley, father of Jeff (of Hallelujah fame). Wonderful night out - great to be alive in those days!

I first saw then on what turned out to be their final tour in 1974, when they were disintegrating. It was clear interpersonal relationships were not that warm on stage. But it remains one of the best gigs I ever went to.

I heard a song on the radio the other day and thought 'That sound a bit like...' I forget what the song was but this has been playing in my head ever since.

I had a real "thing" for Chrissie Hynde at one stage. She is one of those women who isn't particularly attractive (in conventional terms) but is (or was) incredibly sexy. Good music too!
