Re: Stephen Hawking - we have 100 years

No disrespect to Stephen, but anyone with half a brain can figure out that the world can't continue for long with increasing populations and nuclear weapons. It's only a matter of time before we start running out of the things that keep the wheels of industry turning and the things that make life so comfortable, or some insignificant little country gets it's hands on the technology to do some massive harm to the planet.

So the only unknown is WHEN......

Of course, only the elites and those able to afford it will be able to leave the planet if such a thing were possible, the rest of us `plebs` will be left to fend for ourselves either because of some man-made disaster such as a third world war, the exhaustion of all resources or we've all been subjugated by some archaic religion and transported back into the seventh century.

Hi

What ever you think of him, he is the greatest mind on the Planet at the present time.

He deserves listening to.

His Maths are just pure genius.

An absolute joy to behold.

True, Judd, but don't forget that all the "elites" will have to take lots of minions to cook their food, clean their abodes, fight their wars, etc etc etc.

That's how we'll all get up there!

Hi

Who else would you put forward as the greatest mind on the Planet?

Flicker, Gravitas, Purwell?

Then we have Trump and Juncker and Boris?

Not to mention Corbyn and Abbott.

This will be a great game.

Pray, do tell.

...PLUS....one has to bear in mind one of the most significant and universal laws of physics....that is that, once a species can no longer evolve..it has to die out. That leaves the question of WHAT, exactly, will be the next step on the evolutionary ladder for humanity....Any suggestions...??
