Re: BBC bias
Is it one of Aesop's fables about the north wind versus the warm sun in trying to get a coat off a man? Paxo's style has it's place, but the politicians aren't stupid and are used to bar-room confrontations, and will react more cautiously to the North wind style of questioning by wrapping themselves up in their tried and tested arguments, regardless of what the actual question is. It seems to me that they tend to mess up and admit more when they don't feel threatened and intimidated. So although entertaining in its own way, if handled differently by someone else, wider cracks and inconsistencies could have been discovered by letting these seasoned and professional politicians hang themselves by their own rope.Re: BBC bias
Media can make or break people. This is probably more so in the US than here but we are not far behind. Think about it those who own the media - TV, news stations - news papers and so on - can run any derogatory campaign against any that don't tow their own party line. In the US if you dare go against the string pullers you can kiss your career goodbye as you will either be slandered or ignored - both of which will be the end of you. Same here more or less.Re: BBC bias
