Didn't he train at Kew?
I'm not going to argue about it, it's not important.

As long as you watch they dont care if you like it or not they have won the ratings and thats all that matters.
The trouble with 'ratings' is that only those people interviewed or contacted count.

As far as I am aware, there is no way in which they can possibly determine an actual figure of how many people watch any specific programme or channel at a specific time.

I agree - not worth arguing about, but perhaps it was the training at Kew which led him to disrespect Tree Preservation Orders..............or was it the blasé attitude of a TV presenter..........but certainly NOT of a genuine gardener!

Re: BBC reporting

I watch documentaries without presenters, who divert attention from the action behind them, and the Germans, French and Polish documentaries specialise in voice overs, which helps with concentration. Big advantage of European satellite programme, which I have been viewing daily for about thirty years.

I'd be interested to know how I can obtain access to Euronews.

Is it a paid-for service?

Ah, thanks, Tess.

I won't pay for Sky, as I am a tight-fisted bugger, but I have found it online (for free).

So, is this a genuinely unbiased news service then? If so, it must be just about the only one!

There was a post made on Facebook , I saw it yesterday about the very same thing.
General consensus was that most have the same opinions as yourself Lindyloo. People are totally fed up with the reporters and interviewers approach. They are in my opinion downright rude, arrogant, and invasive. Who put them at the top of the tree to play judge and jury. They are noticeably very 'left' and consistently refute or attempt to refute everything this Government does or says. Free speech is one thing, but they are not speaking they are interviewing, which is slightly different. We also have free choice, and my choice in recent weeks has been to leave BBC behind, along with many others, it would seem. Laura Keunssburg and Emily Maitlis are like a pair of deadly Spiders ! They really need to go back to Finishing School or get the sac.
