Cats.

How do you keep your neighbour's cat from pooping in your freshly turned beds ?

I have tried anti cat powder, in fact I unscrewed the lid in error (Rather than flipping the pourer cover) and shot half a container in a square foot of the bed.
This was amongst a lot of bamboo skewers dug into the ground pointing skyward, and the felines took it as a challenge and off loaded within inches of the so called repellent.

Is there a solution ?

Plastic covered clematis netting. This has fairly large holes, so wildlife does not get injured.

What do you do with it ? Cover the ground, make a tent ?

I thought the amount of skewers I have dug into the ground might have deterred them, they think it's a game I have set up for them.

You would have to secure it slightly above the lovely 'pussy toilet' you've made them.

Depends on the size of the area as to how you tackle it.

Planks around the area with the netting secured on top might be an idea.

If it's a huge srea, then maybe a fruit cage type of construction

had pussycats for years.

Don't get any of that flimsy netting. Wildlife can get stuck in it.

Just google clematis netting. It's fairly rigid and more expensive, but it will last forever. I used to cover the pond with it and one or other cat would sit on it and see what they could spy in the water.

Frogs could easily get in and out.

Re: Cats.

Try these cheap and reliable easy to nail or screw them on.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Fence-Wall-.../dp/B0046YJNCM

Used to get cats fighting and sitting all over my back fences and pooping in my flower beds. Not no more the spike strips work a treat. Now I have to find a way of stopping the bloody birds crapping down my fences. They can sit there for ages now because the cats can't get at them.
Its an evil circle get rid of one pest and another bugger turns up.

I did think of an electric wire or perhaps a gun turrent or two.

Simplest way is to get a cat

(S)he will protect its territory from other cats and will poop elsewhere
