Indeed. He strolls across the road to perform his ablutions. Also the house is mouse free! My cat even attacked the local fox who hasn't reappeared since!

Used to get cats fighting and sitting all over my back fences and pooping in my flower beds. Not no more the spike strips work a treat. Now I have to find a way of stopping the bloody birds crapping down my fences. They can sit there for ages now because the cats can't get at them.
Its an evil circle get rid of one pest and another bugger turns up.

I did think of an electric wire or perhaps a gun turrent or two.
I would have to build a fence around the blooming garden.....blooming ? who am I kidding ?
I get on with the neighbours, thanks but I couldn't do that.

I have been told that..................don't tell Rachel......I don't like cats.

I never had this problem before, newly moved in next door a young couple with 2 cats, next door to them the girl's new boy friend is in security and has a couple of loud Alsatians, that send the felines my way.

Re: Cats.

Holly or Chaenomeles (flowering quince) I put clippings of these on flower beds, they're so prickly it puts kitties off. the quince is best as it's more twiggy with thorns, you could use any thorny or prickly plant cuttings though.

Re: Cats.

This will sound silly - but - I have seen it work. A short length of green hose pipe laid out to look like a snake - cats hate snakes !

Lemon/Orange peel scattered about in the flower bed - cats hate citrus.

I have heard about the citrus peel. but how many do me and the wife have to eat before it's affective ?

I was told bottles of water too because they can see their reflection and they think it's another cat................I think they are preening their whiskers in mine.

I can try the hose, but the one I have is yellowish...........might be worth sacrificing a few feet just to see.

To be honest I am not an animal person.
Far too late to start now, and they are like kids, they need attention and you just can't go away for a weekend.

Years ago one of the neighbours would put orange peel down.
Our cat took no notice. I've never known a cat to be bothered by it.
Hose? ... my hose is on the grass quite a lot of the time. Are they bovvered? nah.
