replaced old wooden edge


not exactly in line but give that rustic look???? Anyway the original had rotted through so needed replacing

We used the log effect at the back of our rockery a few years ago....

Getting out the old was easy but the ground is like rock , so had to use a pick
to break it up first before dropping the new edging in.

I have special tools to produce the "rustic look". They've never let me down. Of course there're no string lines or levels in my kit. It looks as though it's been there for years.

These were garden centre bought to replace the old rotten ones that fell apart if you touched them

Those log rolls can be a bit tricky to get straight. Most of mine are curved but for the straight runs, I battened them behind, holding them all in place.
