I Was surprised hearing it on itv news. I really thought he was already dead!

Yes, I thought he'd already gone up there too.

Sad when these celebs die, always makes you think you really aren't going to live forever after all.

Very sad to hear of Glen Campbell's passing yesterday. Another one lost to the awful ailment, dementia.

He was a very diverse musician, straddling the genres of pop and country music and was a gifted guitarist - originally playing in sessions for the Beach Boys amongst others.

He was also a very good songwriter, though it was from a couple of Jimmy Webb's compositions which he made his name - the wonderful By The Time I Get To Phoenix and Wichita Lineman.

At least we got a final album from him recently.
RIP.
