No wonder NHS is so short of cash

Jeremy Hunt, the scumbag 'nasty party's' Health Minister has just squandered £44,000 on building a new khazi & shower in his office.

I can't help feeling no matter who it was for its rather hard to say it's money well spent when they are still cutting benefits and NHS is creaking at the knees. Hardly a good example to set IMO

Re: No wonder NHS is so short of cash

They had a select committee speech on the future of the NHS the other day and one point highlighted the fact that we now only invest as much in our public services as the US. Other European countries invest far more and have far better services. I don't think they have the same levels of deprivation and the populations seem to be managing ok with wages. I think their levels of taxation are higher but at the same time wages are higher. We are clearly doing something wrong here.

Yes I agree our fixation with low taxation is biting us on the bum IMO we have to accept we have to pay more and we have to pursue those who refuse.

Like those who come from overseas and use the NHS without paying?
