Do your libraries sell bags for books?

A general question. I remember visiting a library down in Sussex when Mum's cousin lived there (could have been Hove way), and we bought one of their bags for carrying books.

If you visit your own library, do they sell them in yours? I've found one website that does them, (Surrey) but wonder if any closer to London have them.

Thanks!

Yes I've seen them in ours, quite a while ago though - maybe a couple of years ago(?).
No idea about them really. I use two Tesco bags inside each other

They were very similar to my canvas Tesco bag, but a lot smaller.

I just liked the idea of a bag specially designed for carrying books!

TBH, I did like them - quite sturdy too. Not seen them there for a good while.

They were like this...

Is yours like that one? Just wondered if all libraries sell the same type.

No, the one I had was different, a much lighter material, and with long handles, I think. And it may also have had the Sussex councils printed on it. I'd love to ask Mum's cousin but she is very forgetful and I know I wouldn't get a lot of sense out of her nowadays.

I keep forgetting to phone Surrey council to ask them. They sell them for £2, whereas ours were £1. I'll ask Surrey to email a photo of theirs.
