Two thoughts come to mind:

1. The Russians were not involved in the first attack after all.

2. The Russians have attacked again to make it look like they were not
involved in the first attack.

The World Cup is going very well and Russia is getting a lot of good press. Which does not fit with the Western gameplan. Suddenly, another Novichok incident which, we are told, definitely originated in Russia. Job done!

Considering the amount of time and money spent on decontaminating Salisbury, I do find it strange that the newspapers are now saying that they think this couple were infected very close to the park where the Russians were found in March.

Those were the same thoughts I had Longdogs!
