I see that they’re re-running this again. Can’t think why!
My wife used to go to school with Vicki Michelle who plays Evette!

I saw this on stage many moons ago and it was ( second only to Dave Allen) the funniest thing I have ever seen at a theatre

Me neither, Dongles. Don't find it the least bit funny. Can't stand Dad's Army or Only Fools and Horses either - though they seem to have others convulsed with laughter.

I always thought Allo Allo was a one joke show (the accents), a joke that wore thin very quickly.

I love Dads Army it has an innocence about it.
It was made more poignant i that nearly all the actors had served in the army
Private Godfrey was a bit of a war hero.
They could all march !
