I wouldn't say I don't care about it but I can't say I've ever worried about British culture "disappearing" - it just evolves, as it has always done.
Humans have always migrated to different areas throughout history - lifestyles and culture is never static, it keeps changing. You only have to look at the changing customs, fashions and social mores over the centuries to see that.
