Treats

What do regard as a treat?

I like to treat myself to a MacDonald's takeaway, about twice a year, usually if I have a grandchild in tow as an excuse for doing so, as I know they aren't exactly healthy.

I also enjoy putting golden syrup on my breakfast brioche rolls twice a week. It would be nice to have it every day, but it isn't healthy either, normally I just spread low fat marge on them.

Three times a week I have a very small, and I mean small, glass of a single malt whisky, the only alcohol I imbibe.

A very expensive treat was buying myself a brand new car on a regular basis, and passing the previous one down to whichever of my girls wanted it. However, this treat has been scuppered, by my husband and children, and rightly so. I only use my car once or twice a week so it is a ridiculous waste of money to buy a car unless it is really necessary.

Ah CeeCee, you got to have a treat now and then, even if its just a nice bath with bubbles or a punnet of strawberries or cherries or a new to you book or a magazine

Ive just had my weekly Wednesday treat, a tin of kippers and two slices of bread laden with butter nom nom
