Re: Two or three courses
Val I know where you're coming from. It's not a case of "just eat what you can and leave the rest", it's a case of not putting too much on a plate if you specified that. Some folk don't seem to get it. It's psychological, and let's face it, we all want to enjoy our food.Re: Two or three courses
My wee dad is 84. He used to eat like a horse. Finished off everyone's leftovers. These days his appetite has changed dramatically. I'd never have thought. He wont eat potatoes, which he loved, doesn't like some meats, like he loved. Wouldn't look the road of a beer or whisky. So different from what he was. He does has dementia, but it has affected him in so many different ways. My mum still loves her food. Although tends to eat earlier in the day and eats less in the evening. Definitely an age thing.Re: Two or three courses

Always had a meal and mostly a pudding, never a starter but being diagnosed coeliac has put paid to that. Bad enough finding a main meal I can have without even contemplating a pudding. Only ice cream anyway so not too bothered.Re: Two or three courses
