I can only assume that the script writers get some sort of sexual thrill when they watch the rushes. As for my wife and I, we just feel rather nauseous.
You should try watching Emmerdale. It's worse.

Re: Coronation Street

I don't know why Leanne's sister should be so upset Leanne finding out about her and Peter. It's not like they're still married so why is it such a big secret? Also, when Bethany was carried off it didn't look like Tyrone - yet someone told her Tyrone rescued her, very confusing. I thought she was being carted off to be raped or something. Did I miss something?

Andy's a very weak character and quite a wooden actor IMO and a ridiculous storyline with Phelan, how would Phelan even have known who thumped him from behind?.

I agree. Not a very convincing story. I saw the 'event' and there was no way that Phelan could have seen who wielded the brick unless, of course, he had eyes in the back of his head.

I do think that the inclusion of the Phelan character was a good idea, though. Every soap needs an evil character, and Coronation Street comes up with some quite convincing ones on a regular basis.

We all did. It wasn't shown.
He's supposed to have found her and handed her over to Tyronne.

What I didn't get was ... when it showed him at the tanning parlour, was that woman there the one who nicked David's wallet and got a free Christmas lunch out of Eileen?

I reckon Bethany's about to be groomed by a sleazebag into offering massages with perks for the customers in the back room.

I wasn't worried, chances were she would be ok, based on the probability of the geezer actually being Hetero.

Oh the joy on Norris's face when Mary didn't go with her newly found son after all.
I found that quite touching.....

I know I missed that episode, but what made Mary change her mind? She was no keen to go last week?
