are you a back seat driver ?
cars and trouble and strife driving me 09.06.18don't do back seat
got the hand on throttle
well and truly beat
lost my village bottle.
dying is the drive
took the criticism
run down village now a dive
pure poetry was just escapism.
now left on hard shoulder
can not get to suicide bridge
all poetry into recycled folder
cruising metro and i found sue from tonbridge.
glad you are stable
poetry driving is my strife
ian do you want to do a swap if able
nearly 50 years of poetry i will read to your wife.
who is driving
poetry must be gifting
all done with humour and conniving
each time failing to create uplifting.

I well remember my first time driving on the public road on my 17th birthday. My father was sitting beside me in the front, my mother and grandmother in the back. My father was telling me to drive faster, my mother was telling me to slow down and my grandmother, who had never driven in her life, was telling me to drive at my own pace. I stopped the car, got out and let Dad drive home. They were doing my head in, I might well have crashed the flipping car.

I'm a back seat driver when I'm in the car with my husband, he tells me I have only been a back seat driver since I learnt to drive myself, apparently before I learnt to drive I just never criticised his driving
