Hacked Gmail Account.

Hi

I have just been told by a member that I had sent them two photos, innocent ones, ones they had sent me sometime ago.

I checked my sent items list, they did not show up.

I have changed my password on my account now.

It may be that one of their friends or contacts has a virus infection which used their contacts list to send itself out to others including you.

That is a likely explanation however it is compounded by the fact that if people are not careful with their app permissions their mobile phone shares their contact list with all and sundry and that often includes any email addresses gathered from their email account.

I had a gmail account, amongst others, but it attracted too much spam, so I disposed of it.

That's odd Tara I don't get any spam with Gmail but used to get lots with my previous email provider.

Same here. Recently changed to g.mail because my email has ceased. Having said that, I am ALWAYS suspicious of anything Google, seeing as their aim is to control the World.

I was getting some very unpleasant pornography, which I never have received with any of my other e-mail providers.

I do get spam with my Gmail account, but it goes straight to the spam folder automatically.
Whenever I can be bothered, I empty that folder.

I don’t get any spam with my Gmail but I used to when I was with Sky.
