My Forum Friends
I was thinking about you lot today and thinking how I've enjoyed for the mostpart my time here and I felt a poem coming into my head.I hope you like it, it's meant to be fun, so you buggers out there who like an argument, you aint getting one hehe.
Over 50s Plus
Over on the forum of Over 50s plus
Some members are laid back, some like to cause a fuss
An OP about Religion guaranteed a massive thread
Another, what may happen, after we are dead
Opening up the forum, I’ll see what’s happening today
The thread ‘good morning,’ is now well on its way
Tabby’s usually first, followed sometimes by our Swim
They really are early risers, our Silver Tabby and him
We’ll tell members the weather, in our part of the world
And we’ll watch slowly as the thread is unfurled
We’ll tell of todays plans and also our arrangements
It could be fun times, or really heavy engagements
After saying our Good Morning, new threads will then appear
Sometimes I’ll happily open, sometimes I’ll open with a fear
Oh no, it’s that subject again, I bet I can guess by whom
Let’s have a happier thread, instead of religious doom
Some of us like to play, ridiculous made up names
While others they will play the many other games
What’s your favourite music, what exercise did you do today
Just some of the threads we read, we always like to say
Some members are really gentle, while some like an argument
Some like to be sarcastic but others, they like to torment
We’ll talk about our ailments, also our aches and pains
We might mention our bowel habits, or even our varicose veins
This group called over 50s, is full of characters mixed
Some of us I wonder, could we be ever fixed
But oh my fellow forummers, I’m happy you’re my friend
I’ll probably be around here, until my final end!
