Begonias and Dahlias

When do you folks start off your Begonias and Dahlias?
Do you start them in trays/pots indoors?

How I miss my large garden(but not the work). I started them off indoors any time now.

Well, I've started my Dahlias and Begonias off in pots indoors now.
I've got seedlings all over the place, and am running out of window sills.
I've even had to put the baby tomato plants on my bedroom windowsill now.
Oh for a nice warm greenhouse!

Oh bless-I know the feeling. I`m glad I downsized but I sure do miss the big houses with heating.

I just hope we get some warmer weather soon OG. It's gets worse as things need potting on and there is not enough room for bigger pots.
I've still got some winter plants in bloom (cyclamen and hyacinths), let alone all these seedlings.
I know - its my own silly fault, but I just love growing things.

You should have seen me this morning-trying to make a tunnel cloche in a gale-tricky stuff a few yards of polythene in a strong wind.

Yes, I bet it was tricky It's been blowing a gale bad here last night and today as well.
