Nestling - my painting of a baby human in a bird's nest.

I painted this three years after learning to paint. I was still learning. My reference material was a picture of a baby in a carved out watermelon, a picture of a bird feeding it's young and a bird's nest. It was fun to paint.

I like that sage, especially the expression on the bird's face.

Thanks, Longdogs. It would be surprising to find that in your nest.

It certainly would. It would take some serious feeding too.

It might make you reconsider becoming a parent.

Thanks. Learning how to put a painting together is sometimes just as hard as doing the painting.

Thanks, Silver Tabby and Mags. If any one wants to learn to paint I recommend Jerry Yarnell. He has lessons of DVD.
