Briswool (knitted Bristol) exhibition.
An exhibition of knitting skills that re-created the fair city of Bristol in wool. I've added comments where I can remember what I was looking at.Clifton Suspension Bridge. The Pump House was originally used to keep the level in Cumberland Basin and the docks lever. It's now a pub, so still being used to move fluids around.

The Avon gorge. Note the crocagators in the river. One was once allegedly seen there.
Brandon hill and Cabot Tower.
College Green with the curved council building, and Cathedral adjacent.
I can't remember, but just look at the detail on that building.
Ferry. Note the knitted Gromit on the bow, from the original Gromit unleashed display.
Saint Mary Redcliffe. Pronounced, Ssmaryredcliffe.

The houses in that area really are painted different colours. Cabot Tower again and the University Tower to the right.
The Balloon Festival. Of more importance is my Aunty/MiL taking pictures with the pink tablet.
