10000 steps

I am trying to do 10000 brisk steps a day .
It's supposed to be the minimum for good health .
My husbands iPhone has a heart app that counts them .

Re: 10000 steps

A friend of mine has one..

I walked in to town to meet her a couple of weeks ago to shop and stroll through the park and grab a drink n stuff

I was gone 3 hours and in the time i was with her she said we had done 13,000 steps!

Who says retail therapy isn't good for you?!

Re: 10000 steps

I have a step counter that clips to a waist band and works on movement. I used to congratulate myself on how well I’d done some days but eventually realised it was counting movement whilst out in the car as well! I gave it up in disgust!

Re: 10000 steps

I've read that 10,000 is the magic number for weight loss for the average person with a moderate diet.

Interestingly, in all the time I've been running, I have never counted steps. I don't think I want to know, lololol....
