Really quiet on here today. Jac I don't order online one I don't know how to and I like to see what I'm buying. Met friends in town today for coffee and a chat.

How frustrating Jac, have you tried again this evening? I tried to phone the surgery four times this morning to make an appt for an MOT. Three times it was engaged and the fourth time it wasn't answered!!

Was hoping to see the moon this evening, but it looks like complete cloud cover here - really disappointed.

I managed to get it to go through by using my I-Pad. A nice man talked me through getting rid of cookies etc? but I think I must get it given a look over by someone who knows what they are doing.
Too cloudy here to see the moon as well Sue. Its very overcast and rainy here today as well so prob be the same tonight. Shame xxx

Jac glad you managed to get your Tesco delivery done. When I picked my laptop up he said that there were a lot of things on it and it took a while to clean it up. I didn't see the moon either it was raining, although some one managed to take a picture and put it on the local FB page.

Don't think the Berkshire air agrees with my dog-he hasn't been himself for a couple of days but thankfully he's better today.
Been busy cleaning out cupboards in my son's-men tend forget that they need doing sometimes!
Hoping to go to Windsor tomorrow.

I've had a funny day . First the Doc cancelled my appt because he was off sick .I had a few things to do in the bank anyway so got dressed and then realised Barclays are closed on a Wednesday so I'm back in my dressing gown . Put my sheets out for a blow and now it looks like rain . I think I should go back to bed lol

Been a really lovely day here, quite mild although breezy. I'm afraid it's tumble drier for me from now on. Too much washing! Cleaned up some of the leaves on the lawn, as I dont want it dying but there are a lot more to come down. The colours ar glorious this year and just as it's becoming dusk they seem to glow.

Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

What a day . Had to to Mumbles , got ready , it was overcast and windy but by the time I'd got to the car we had thunder and lightening and a real cloudburst. The roads were like rivers .
Managed to park near the bank so decided to go for it . I got soaked through but did my business and got back home . I changed , even trousers were soaked so put my warm dressing gown on and had a cuppa . I've just had to to change again because the sun is out and on the window so I was sweating . Thats it now , not getting changed again
