Keep your chin up gals.

It's an unpleasant chore, but you'll get there in the end.

Best wishes from me.....

I don't feel very brave, there just isn't any other option. The vapour rub works btw brilliantly so thank you for that.

I am learning something from this though, when chips are down people are actually ok and can be really kind, I think I'd forgotten that for a long time, but I've had some singularly kind things done for me since I was diagnosed.

Re: Bad news / good news

It's lovely to read such positive posts from friends on this forum.

Julie, you are far braver than I am, I've not found the courage to leave home for more than around an hour at a time. I'd like to have a day or two away and maybe during my 'rest' week I will. Still working on this!

You'll be ok I'm sure.
I'm still being scanned every 6 months 5 years later. Had one last Saturday!

Can be a bit nerve wracking awaiting the results though - which often takes a week or three.

You'll be ok Val, trust me.
I just kinda switched off after a while and carried on regardless. Try not to worry, deep breath and crack on........

It makes a difference I have grace I have to get her to school so I am out and about doing that most days. I know family would do it but she likes her mum to kiss her goodbye at the gate. If I didn't have her I might be less likely to get up each day.

Hi Julie we haven't jousted swords for many a long day - but may the spirits surround you and stay with you and bring you back sound and well

I'd like to think we'll spar again!

xx
