Neil Diamond.

Read this morning that Neil has announced he's to retire from touring after a recent diagnosis of Parkinson's disease.
Seen him a couple of times live and I've always been a fan.
He says he hopes to continue writing his music.

How sad - Parkinson's is unpleasant. Love Neil Diamond's music. He was brilliant in the remake of the film 'The Jazz Singer'.

He writes all the time, for others and himself. I remembering him saying a few years ago writing was main part of his make up the singing was a side shoot of that really.

Sad he's stopping but it may be best for him because that's a cruel disease.

Hell of a shame about his Parkinson's though, isn't it? It must be pretty severe as he surely would have finished his tour.

Saw him live two years ago. Said at the time we had best go now as she couldn't tour forever

Fantastic Show

He did come over last year, and we thought about going and decided against it, which I don't regret. I have fantastic memories of that one live concert, I've a pile of his concerts on DVD and I have his music in my car
