Exhausted

Well title says it really, I got up this morning did my usual stuff, just arrived back from dropping four kids off at school, my turn to do the school run today. Sat down with a coffee and realised I'm absolutely exhausted.

I can't remember a time other than day after I was having chemo I felt like this.

Perhaps I'm coming down with a cold or something but if I seem to be logged on and not posting I've just fallen asleep where I sit

Yes it's a moan sorry I'll try and cheer up a bit

Re: Exhausted

Aw Julie, listen to your body - you should lie down & rest as much as you can.

That's the way I felt in the early days of having my virus & I took myself off to bed for 5 days.

I'm not saying you have got a virus coming but you should rest anyway and if you carry on feeling this exhausted you must go to the doctors.

Hi

Julie, do you not take your own everyday?

It really is very simple and cheap to do.

Re: Exhausted

No my GP said recently I'd be worse case for doing that, mine goes up and down like a yo yo. I'm on and off medications all the time. Example one day before Christmas Eve it was too low I nearly fainted, but Christmas Eve they took it again and it was 220/115 far far too high.

So I'd just scare myself if I did.

Re: Exhausted

Julie I think your body is telling you you are doing too much.
Listen to it....

I do now, I know if I don't there will be consequences.

Re: Exhausted

I'm not disagreeing but how ? I'm recovering well from the cancer, I'm not doing anything I can really cut back on. I'm lone cleaner at work so if I do t do it no one can pick up the slack, my husbands falling apart himself because of his job, Gracie needs looking after, dogs need looking after. I can't see anything I can cut back on.

Re: Exhausted

Julie, are you still undergoing chemo or over the treatment?

Sometimes you just have to delegate someone else or pay others and cut back other ways. Your health has no price tag.

I'm free of it and very happy for that. I guess I'm still recovering from it all though.
