Just plugged it in to replace my Roku.

It is an amazing bit of kit.

£40 here in the UK, plus £7.99 a month.

The voice control is fantastic.

The one he has sent me is the Taiwanese version, fully loaded, access to hundreds of TV channels

Ask a question and it searches the Internet for an answer.

I am smitten by it.

Nathan bought one home we deregisyered if from his Amazon account and registered it with mine that has prime so no charges other than the £79 a year I already pay.

I'm loving the Amazon music app. So much music so little time bette milder brilliant !

I have the Amazon music app on my phone and tablet and can use Alexa to play any of the songs included with my Amazon Prime account. Brilliant. Have also got Amazon Prime video app on my Smart TV so can watch any of the TV shows/movies that are provided (there's some absolute rubbish of course ) Am just in the process of trawling through their Vikings box-set series. So far, so good.

I'm seriously toying with the idea of getting an Amazon Echo to listen to music, get info off the web and even control equipment in the house - anyone have this device, and can it be recommended?

I'm impressed with shows they appear to make themselves ? It's just us has me watching at the moment, extant had me fascinated too.
