Unbelievable ... I thought testing on animals had been banned?

You couldn't make this stuff up .. I read in another report that the monkeys were left to watch cartoons in an airtight chamber as they breathed in diesel fumes from a VW Beetle.
Cartoons! What! Too afraid to show them Schindler's List.

It really upsets me things like this.

One assumes that any humans who participate in experiments give their written consent?

They never used to ask for written permission.
From a PR viewpoint surely someone would have flagged up the connotations if these tests ever went public, which they did. With nearly everyone having access to the internet there are no secrets anymore. The arrogance of VW is bloody astonishing.

Not sure what the regulations are in Germany with regard to animal testing Mups, someone on here will know no doubt
